This programme takes us back to the time of the First World War, when the wider area of the Soca
Valley was engulfed by the fighting on the Soca (Isonzo) Front. We will be transformed into soldiers facing a series of group tasks of varying difficulty. We will rescue wounded comrades from underground bunkers, cross a minefield, deactivate a nuclear reactor and deal with a number of other surprises.
Activities will take place in the hills around Tolmin and in and on the river Soča. In the evening we will build a fire by the river, cook frika, pitch camp and post guards to protect us from a "surprise" attack. Who would have thought that an attack could also be an enjoyable surprise?
The Paths of the Soca Front is a highly motivational one-off programme and a unique mixture of hiking, cycling, water sports, historical and cultural heritage and group challenges.
