The year is 1836. The world is no better and no worse than it is today, it is merely different. The clip-clop of horses' hooves echoes on the paving stones of Ljubljana's streets. Ladies and gentlemen ride in (relatively) comfortably upholstered carriages… Yes, this is what life was like in the days when Slovenia's greatest poet vainly sought the hand of Julija Primic…
Much has changed in today's Ljubljana. The carriages have been replaced by Mercedes, Audis and BMWs, and Julija Primic has finally pledged her undying love to our France Prešeren. Find out what brought about such a dramatic twist and what made Julija change her mind by taking part in a programme that is full of group tasks and challenges, surprises and pleasant discoveries.
This urban adventure combines past and present, includes the discovery of cultural and historical heritage, and is topped off with excellent Slovenian cuisine and the finest Slovenian wines.
