Podpeka - sach
For those who love specialities prepared under a sach or peka (baking bell -
see photo), we offer the following:
- pork ribs from under the sach
- lamb from under the sach
- veal shank/knuckle of veal from under the sach
- octopus from under the sach
Specialities cooked under the sač can be prepared for a maximum of
70 people at a time. Dishes are accompanied by potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, courgettes, carrots, onions, garlic and local wine. We will also serve you a refreshing Shopska salad and tomato salad.
Dishes from the cauldron
Those who swear by dishes that are eaten with a spoon can choose from the following range of specially selected dishes:
- Pasulj (bean stew) with ribs and sausage
- Fish soup
- Jota (sauerkraut/bean soup)
- Venison goulash
Dishes from the cauldron may be ordered as complete meals or as a side dish to be served with one of the above picnics.
